Devi Vishwakumar’s life as a fearless and outspoken teenager comes to a fitting conclusion in Netflix’s Never Have I Ever Season 4.
Through four seasons, we see Devi trying to go through Sherman Oaks high school by going through what life has to offer – lots of highs and lows.
Making new friends, falling in love, breaking up, facing criticism, losing your virginity, and hoping for an optimistic future – these are all the roller-coaster events and emotions that depict everyone’s coming-of-age days. And this show nails it, mostly.
If you have been following this series so far, it’s obvious that you would wish to know how the series ends.

Never Have I Ever Season 4: What We Have Seen So Far
Everyone who has gone through high school knows how tough it can be. However, it can be tougher if you are an Indian teenage girl like Devi Vishwakumar (perfectly portrayed by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) living in the USA.
In Never Have I Ever Season 1, we are introduced to Devi Vishwakumar – an Indian-American with lots of trauma. Most of it stems from the sudden death of her father – the closest person in her life. Her father dies on her Freshers day – a tragic incident that leads her to suffer a condition where she occasionally suffers from leg paralysis.
However, as a cheerful and optimistic girl, Devi has no intention of letting this stop her from leading her life to her fullest. Therefore, she decided to use her sophomore year to climb to the top of the social ladder of Sherman Oaks high school.
Here, she makes many new friends and haters and even decides to spark her love-live. She makes new friends like Eleanor (portrayed by Ramona Young) and Fabiola (Le Rodriguez). She also starts dating the super-sexy upperclassman Paxton (portrayed by Darren Barnet) and becomes frenemies with the equally hot Ben (Jared Lewison).
In addition to this, her distant and not-so-grieving mother, Nalini (Poorna Jagannath), and cousin Kamala (Richa Moorjani) also enter her life.
However, the season ends with Devi and Ben kissing each other (woohoo!), while Paxton watches this encounter from a distance as he is about to confess to her (yikes!)
In Never Have I Ever Season 2, Devi kicks her relationship game up a notch by secretly dating both Paxton and Ben at the same time. However, as we all expected, both find out about it and break up with her.
But Devi still wants things to go smoothly for her. After successfully reconciling her friendship with Paxton, her relationship with Ben becomes complicated. This is due to a new girl in school – Anessa (Megan Suri), vying for Ben’s attention.
This jealousy toward Anessa makes her start spreading false rumors about her – which apparently turn out to be true. However, she later apologizes for her actions and becomes friends with Anessa.
Soon, Devi and Paxton start dating again, albeit in secrecy. This makes Devi question his intentions, as he publicly denies the fact that they are dating. However, during the annual ball, things come to the public as they both confirm their relationship. Moreover, this saddens Benm, indicating that he still might have feelings for Devi.
In Never Have I Ever Season 3, Paxton and Devi are in a steady relationship. However, on Valentine’s Day, everyone starts finding their best matches through a game. Here, we find out that Paxton is the perfect match for Haley (a friend of Devi), while Devi appears to be a perfect match with Eric Perkins. On the other hand, Ben lies that Anessa is the perfect match for him, while in fact, it is Devi.
However, after this revelation, Paxton breaks up with Devi because she’s not confident in herself. After this, Devi starts dating Nirdesh, a friend of her mom’s friend. However, they soon stop dating as their respective mothers find out about it, and they start slut-shaming Devi.
In the end, we see Devi hooking up with Ben and finally losing her virginity (go girl!)

After a steamy moment between Paxton and Devi in the swimming locker room, they are caught kissing by their swimming coach. However, they finally sort themselves out, after which Paxton starts dating Lindsay Thomas.
But in the end, we see Devi and Ben end up being together in a sweet and romantic moment – one of the main highlights of Never Have I Ever Season 4.
Conclusion:
Benvi It Is! At the end of Never Have I Ever Season 4, we learn that Ben and Devi finally end up being together. The relationship between Paxton and Devi also gets a proper closure as well. In the end, we see Devi, and all her friends, enroll in their respective colleges, away from each other. Even though Benvi is in a long-distance relationship now, I am just glad they ended up together since it was hinted at in Season 1.
