One of my favorite Jeff Goldblum movies that I have seen till now. Goldblum is known to have worked in high-concept genres that are interesting and thought-provoking at the same time.

When the excellence of Steven Spielberg’s filmmaking is mixed with talented actors like Sam Neil, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum, then movies like Jurassic Park are going to be a worldwide favorites for fans.

The film was one of a kind at its time and brought dinosaurs back to life for all of us to enjoy. It is no wonder that the film was such a huge success and all the actors became recognized worldwide.

The Fly (1986)

The skill of picking great movies is something that Jeff Goldblum was born with. This was again seen when he did the movie The Fly.

It is a Sci-Fi movie that revolves around a scientist who is obsessed with his latest piece of technology. But when he was experimenting with this piece of technology, something went horribly wrong.

The movie is definitely not for someone with a weak stomach, but Goldblum’s portrayal of the obsessed scientist is exceptional. His character was both fascinating and twisted at the same time.

The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)

The actor-filmmaker duo of Jeff Goldblum and Wes Anderson is like a match made in heaven, giving us movies like The Grand Budapest Hotel and Isle of Dogs. The Grand Budapest Hotel is a movie that is a total mayhem.

The storyline revolves around a priceless painting and the conspiracy that surrounds the painting. Jeff Goldblum plays the role of a will executor. That will be going to execute all the mayhem that goes on in the movie.

The film perfectly captures the colorful and inventive style of movie display that Wes Anderson is actually known for. The cast was full of talented actors, such as the exceptionally talented Ralph Fiennes.

Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (1978)

When such a unique actor like Goldblum plays the role of an unhinged character, that too in a horror movie like Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The is centralized around a town that is taken over by aliens who are experts in mimicking the characteristic of their human victims.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers is a remake movie, which is why it can get tricky to make it as good as the original one.

But the film did everything right and created moments of suspense and paranoia from the start till the end of the movie. This kept the audience guessing about what is happening at every moment throughout the film.

Nashville (1975)

It has been seen over and over again that the films Goldblum chooses are too good and are considered masterpieces in the film industry. One such film is Nashville by Robert Altman. It is one such movie that skyrocketed his career to great heights.

The story of the movie Nashville revolves around a few interesting and unique bunch of people surrounding the music scene of Nashville, Tennessee.

The movie is fun, vibrant, and all satisfying movie, but the main achievement of the movie is its insightful and fun way of story-telling.

Isle Of Dogs (2018)

The next project that Jeff Goldblum did with Wes Anderson was Isle Of Dogs. The movie is set in Japan, where all the dogs are on a garbage Island.

The story then follows a young boy who comes to the island looking for his pet dog, and a group of dogs are helping him. Since the movie is an animated movie, Jeff Goldblum gave the voice of one dog in the group.

The movie was very well received by both the audience and critics alike. It was a rich blend of Wes Anderson’s movie making and the charm and fun of an animated movie.

The Right Stuff (1983)

Yet another badge of honor in his movie career is the movie The Right Stuff. The movie revolves around an epic historical image of real-life pilots. Who put their lives in grave danger to help with NASA’s space program.

The movie is a perfect blend of insightful, exciting, and funny while looking back at significant times in history and the people who helped in the creation. The role that Goldblum plays might be small, but it is as significant as any of the other roles.

He is the comic relief of the movie playing the role of a recruiter who was sent to search for the best and ideal pilots for the new space program. The film has an exciting and stellar cast of Sam Shepard, Ed Harris, Dennis Quaid, and Scott Glenn.
